Butter Ran Away!

My dog Butter decided to embark on his own adventure on Saturday night. For a while, I chased him all over the neighborhood screaming, "Butter! Butter!!! Come here, Butter!!" I think I sounded like a maniac. He finally decided to come home (as he always does) but running away from your owner (as fast as your four little legs will carry you) does not fare well in triple-digit temperatures. He was *exhausted* when he came home. Bunny (next to him) was just glad to have her buddy back.
Surgery Update

I know, I know---posts about medical issues are boring! Still, Frank asked how I was doing so I thought I'd post it here along with a recent picture (taken yesterday).
After almost four months I still have a little swelling! The doctor said it would all be gone by four months so I don't know what the problem is. I'm going to ask him the next time I see him. I also still get daily headaches, but this recovery is certainly much better than last time. I'm able to eat almost anything as long as I am careful and eat very slowly. For the most part I've been able to exercise but the temperatures have been in the triple digits these last several weeks. I, for one, do not feel like riding my bike when it's 104 degrees outside!
I am going to Mexico at the end of October for a friend's wedding. Actually, I am a bridesmaid. I've never been to Mexico, but I hear it is fantastic. We'll be in Playa del Carmen at an all-inclusive resort. For the low low price of $111/person/night we get meals, lodging and activities. Sounds great to me!
Finally, I will be in the area in September to install eight phone systems. I'll be in Baltimore, but hopefully we can plan a get-together.

Welcome Peeps!
Hello Everyone and welcome to The Stidman Family Blog! I thought this would be a fun and effective medium to share information with each other. Anyone can post and if you need a "how to" on posting a picture, let me know. I can write one up and post it here. The only rule is that you do not edit or otherwise alter another person's posts for the simple fact that they might be accidentally and irrevocably deleted. In addition to exercising your HTML skills (if you care to), this is a great way to share stories and hone your writing skills.
